North Cadbury Visit 2015

The Baron & Baroness on a two-day visit to North Cadbury

The Baron and Baroness were very warm welcomed by members of the local community. It was a great honour to be well received for the second time. They had a private invitation to Galhampton Manor, a beautiful historic family seat. The Lord and Lady had been guided through the lovely villages of North Cadbury, South Cadbury, Galhampton and also Yarlington with all the famous medieval houses and churches.

The Chairman of the North Cadbury Village Hall Committee, has given an overview over the progress of the refurbishment works of the Village Hall. Afterwards they made a journey to the historic city of Sherborne in Dorset. A special attraction was the visit of Sherborne Abbey. The Baron and Baroness enjoyed these two wonderful days in North Cadbury, in the countryside of Somerset and the nearby places in the counties of Dorset and Wiltshire. They also had a visit of the world-famous Stourhead Gardens with its great Palladian mansion in the adjacent county of Wiltshire.

Lord Jörg and Lady Regina give their cordially thanks to all the abovementioned people which were involved in this excellent and very impressive visit and for all their hospitality and generosity.

North Cadbury Village Hall - a year later after our visit in 2014

The new improvement works at the Village Hall. In the annex of the village hall there is, i.a., a chair storage. Well done!
